Repairing computer (vista) need help?

Ok I've been having problems with my computer. I came home from school one day and got on the internet but then my computer froze completely. I restarted it manually and when prompted to do disc repair I let it continue. When doing the repairs it froze again. Now I don't care if I lose all my files.. I just want to use my comp again. After booting from the vista disc I got w/ the computer I tried the repair option but it is stuck on "searching for windows installations..." but if I move that window I can see Windows Vista on the list of installed operating systems behind it. My computer has been stuck at this screen for 19 hours so now I think it froze. I tried doing last known configuration but it won't take me to that option when I press F8. Someone, help?

(p.s. I'm on my wii, that's how I got this message on here. My computer is completely unusable right now)

use your system restore, after you take it back a couple of days, take it and put it back to xp.
