What Wii games can you play with the Classic Controllers?

Hi, I've just bought two Classic Controllers for the Wii and now I'm wondering which games I can actually play with them. Just tried it on Super Mario Galaxy and it didn't work
I've just ordered the new Super Mario Brothers game and I'm hoping that's going to work. Can anyone help me and tell me what I'm doing wrong or what games I can use them on?

There are few Wii games that are compatible with the classic controller because it's more commonly used to play Virtual Console games. New Super Mario Bros. Wii is only compatible with the Wii remote.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Mortal Kombat

And of course many downloadable games from the Nes, Super Nintendo en N64 generations and WiiWare titles.
