Anybody been ripped off by Ozone Electronics in Oldham?
They took cash for Nintendo Wii console bundles,
promised delivery for xmas, possibly £500,000 worth of goods according to news.
Didn't supply any.
Now their shop is vacated.
Rather than wasting time with trading standards are comsumers within their rights to track down the directors using Companies House records and confront them?
I understand the principle of seperate entity surrounding uk businesses but if it were me got ripped off I'd be at this guys front door!
What are everybodies thoughts on this?
I understand that there are proper channels for handling things like this, but the only person I ever knew who got satisfaction in this situation was a man who went to see the owner in his new shop, ordered the man's customers out of the shop, locked the door, turned the sign on the door to 'CLOSED' and then threatened him with actual physical violence.
I wish the proper channels were half as effective.
