I need birthday party ideas!?

My 14th birthday party is coming up, and i want it to be huge! I want 50-100 people to come (all girls. tried coed last year, and it was a disaster). I am not aloud to have it at my house because my parents don't want a big mess. I want to have a new reputation going into high school because i am now known as the smart, geeky, safe girl. i have a few ideas such as a beach party (i liven near a beach; a beach that is around 50 degrees, but a beach none-the-less), renting out a ballroom in a hotel and having a "formal" party/ dance, renting out a room in the recreation center and hanging out while listening to music and playing the wii, and my final idea is renting out a book store, and just hanging out there for a few hours with a lot of my friends (this wont do much to help my reputation, though, and i really don't want to do this one...) i need more ideas/ your opinion on your favorite idea. can anyone help me? thank you soooo much!

You could have it Hawaiian themed.

Don't do sodas... it makes people bloated and I've noticed makes them self conscious. Do a fruit punch type thing, finger foods (fruit) and do the Kabob type stuff. Even though it is like 50 degrees, you could do a bon fire and roast like, marshmallows to make s'mores or something fun.

But to be honest. It doesn't matter what your status is to other people.... It's your friends and family that really matter. and sometimes... it's good being the safe one. Cops knowing you by name is not a good thing... also, if you can list every drug by street name or other slang name... that's not good either. Think of the type of status that you want to have through High School.

Do you want to be the good, honest person that people can come to for advice. Or the girl that people only use for their self-indulgence?

I'm done with High School, and have been for 2 1/2 years. I made some mistakes in High School, but I was always the one that EVERYONE came to for advice, cause I was very well known for my wiseness and compassion.

But, on a lighter note. Your party will be a blast if it is at the beach. Volleyball, sand castles, burying friends under the sand... sounds great.
