How to beat vending games?

Does anyone know some strategy for how to beat vending games? I am especially thinking of a game that I played at 6 Flags/Great America where you activate a mechanical arm that pushes your prize off the rotating middle. I think the game was called "Knock it Off." Anyway, the prizes were worth spending at least a few dollars trying (Nintendo Wii, 30 gig IPOD's, etc.). The more I studied the game the more I was intrigued with developing a strategy to improve my odds. If anyone has any ideas on this - give me a shout out and I will share my ideas with the best answer. Happy gaming.

As far as I am concerned the best strategy is to realize that no single method of play will help you develop a winning strategy that would continue to be useful over a long period of time.

How many people can win the grand prizes in "Knock it Off" each year? Probably very few.

Games such as the one you mention are designed with one purpose in mind: To separate you from your money....And because these games aren't typically regulated by state gaming/gambling authorities they often provide worse odds than even the stingiest of slot machines.

I am not an expert on how they do this, but the one thing I have found while playing over the years is that the electronic response to my command to "move" is often on some type of "delay" that causes the moving part in question to not move exactly when I tell it to but rather a fraction of a second longer which causes my timing to be disrupted. Sometimes that delay is not even consistent from one try to the next.

Okay fine, maybe I'm just not very good at these games, but even so they are games which exist so players DO NOT win.

Have fun, but don't get sucked in.

How did I unlock my Wii? - FAQs

Within this brief article I plan to flag up a few FAQ's on 'how to unlock my Wii'. After all it really, before I carried out a my software update, I didnt have the faintest idea. For most of us rookie gamers out there, its a confusing topic right?

HOW DID I UNLOCK MY Wii? - FAQs

1. What is the most effective method? Chip modification or purely software?

I hope thats a fairly obvious one for you guys? Chip modification is not a good way forward - after all, we are in 2010! There is no need for an electricians skillset and soldering experience! And did you know that when you open up your box you automatically void your manufacturers warranty? Software modification only is definitely the way forward.

2. How do I know where to purchase the correct software?

Did you know there is over 2 million results for 'unlock my Wii' on google? There are many fraudulent and illegal companies out there trying to pick up your business. Apart from my recommendations below, I would definitely try searching for Wii software products on Clickbank. These guys do not endorse 'phonies' and will act on your behalf if you have a problem.

3. How do I install the software?

Well, it depends on which software you choose as discussed in point 2! It should be as simple as downloading the software electronically, transferring to your Wii, and then following the step-by-step instructions. Honestly, if you purchase the correct software, your grandma could do it! Look for high quality videos as well as online support from the vendor. A must have!

So there you have it, a few questions I came up against and answered when i tried to unlcok my Wii.
