How do I hook up internet to my Nintendo Wii with a Wii LAN adapter without a router?
I just bought a rocketfish Wii LAN Adapter at bestbuy. I also bought a 50ft ethernet wire.I hooked everything up the way the bestbuy guy told me to do. One end in the modem and the the other in the adapter. Can you help me?
Sorry to ask the obvious, but did you configure the Wii so it knows to connect through the wired connection? Unlike a computer, the Wii won't know it's connected until you tell it it is. To do this, on your Wii menu, go to Wii Logo Circle > System Settings > Internet > Connection 1 > Wired Connection. That ought to work. If it doesn't, contact Nintendo Customer Support.
