Is Endless Ocean for Wii a good game? Does it get boring quickly?
I'm thinking about getting it and I want some info. before I make a decision.
My boyfriend and I rented it, and it's the closest thing you can get to scuba diving in your living room. It's really pretty and fascinating, and it's actually quite educational as well. There are missions for you to accomplish, so it's not necessarily a mindless swim game because you can complete the tasks if you want.
That said, the New Age music (while quite nice) can really make you drowsy, and it is slow. We played for about two hours (you can really lose track of time with it) and I got bored watching my boyfriend swim around. It was okay when I was doing it, although a bit slow, but watching him was like taking a sedative and crawling into bed.
I'd recommend renting it first because I wouldn't buy it; I'm used to faster-paced games, but it's not bad if you enjoy aquatic life.
