Nintendo Wii Rock Band 2 Question?

Is the Rock Band (1) guitar the same as the Rock Band 2 guitar in terms of compatibility, features? Like if I use a Rock Band 1 guitar to play Rock Band 2, will I miss out on functions or something? Also is the Logitech USB Mic for PS3 or Xbox 360 compatible with the Wii platform? Thanks!

There's no difference between the guitars as far as functionality is concerned between RB1 and 2. I believe they added a cymbal for the drum set between 1 and 2. And yes, the Logitech USB mic for PS2/PS3/Xbox 360 is the same one as they use for the Wii, they're all compatible. Note that the Singstar/Lips style mics that use 2 mics into a junction box that goes into one USB port will not work for the Wii's karaoke and RB/GH style games, but the Logitech USB mic is pretty universal across all platforms.
