Direct wall outlet for the Wiimote?
Alright guys, well i had the wii for a little over 1 and a half year now and its getting expensive to buy batteries for it and i also had 2 pairs of rechargeable batteries but they dont really go for that long and aren't really worth it in my opinion.
So i'm wondering if any of you guys know if i can directly connect the wii motes to the outlet in the wall and completely get rid of battery usage. Like you know how they have it in the stores. Its like a spring cord on a cord phone and its connected to the battery pack.
So if anyone has any info i would really appreciate it!
Thanks!
alright guys if such a thing doesn't exist yet can someone tell me what batteries and charger they use and tell me how long the charge time is and how long you play with them In the wii
also can you tell me the price of the charger plus batteries
thank you guys !
No there is no such thing, unfortunately. The corded Wii motes you see at retailers are specifically for the Demo machines. I use Energizer double A rechargeable batteries and they last me quite awhile, anything else is pretty much garage. When using your Wiimote, go to your controller settings and turn off the vibrate mode and turn down the speakers on your Wiimote. Your battery life will last you a lot longer if you do those things.
Other then that, you are stuck with wireless controllers. Sorry.

However, some parents may be thinking twice about purchasing this game console because of the price. Don't worry, you'll only need a bit of work on your part and you'll be sure to find the the cheapest Wii on the market. The trick is knowing where to look and understanding all the factors that affect Nintendo Wii prices. For the parents out there, here are the things you should consider when shopping for Wiis.
Knowing what you should Buy
To begin with, Wiis are usually sold in packages. The contents of the package often predict what the price will be. The most devices you'll find on the package is the Wii-mote or the remote.
There are also additional games that you can buy aside from those that initially comes with the device. Hence, if you're looking for cheap bundles, be specific about the contents of the bundle you're buying. The extras for the Wii device may amount up to $100 with the device itself valued around $250. The cost for complete bundles range from $450 above.
If you're still unsure, then try to find out what each device costs individually. Through this, you'll be able to pin point the exact difference between purchasing a bundle and individual Wii devices.
Knowing Where to Purchase the Game
Some stores sell the Nintendo Wii cheaper than others. To find cheap Nintendo Wiis, you will have to browse around different stores and compare prices before settling on one. Since large stores order by the bulk, it's possible that they will be selling the game at lower prices.
However, you may also utilize the internet in your search for cheap wiis. You might be able to find the cheapest wii bundles on online auction sites, stores and classifieds.
It's even possible for you to find devices at 50% off in good condition. However, make sure to document all transactions prior to any purchase. Save all the information relating to the sale such as email addresses, phone numbers and web sites.
Basically, these two are what you must consider when looking for cheap Wii bundles or individual devices. Keep in mind that you are aiming for quality as well as the price, so be specific about your purchases. With luck and persistence, you'll be able to buy a quality Nintendo Wii in a reasonable price.
