Which is better, Tomb Raider(Lara Croft) aniversary for wii, or the origanals for the computer?
I have nearly every TR game and love them all they are so fun and challenging. My dad got me them and showed me how to play them from when i was around four. I think the one for the wii is better as you have to aim, dust relics, break off rocks etc. The best part: t-rex obviously!!!
If you have a wii, then i seriously recommend it if you like adventure games.....and shooting dinosaurs, bears, wolves, bats.etc.
I have a Wii and I actually ended buying the PSP version which isn't too bad aside from frame rate problems. On the road a lot these days so I decided on the PSP version being a Lara Croft fan. Though admittedly, I've not been too impressed by recent Tomb Raider games so "Anniversary" has been a pleasant surprise. It rocks and brings new life to Lara Croft who kicks some serious...
But to answer your question, I think the Wii version is probably fun for people who like using the wii remote to aim/shoot and manipulate objects. The mouse/keyboard is great for FPS games that require quick aiming and the ability to turn around quickly. But this game really doesn't require that sorta speed and the aiming with the wii remote is sufficient I imagine, having played other games that use it in similar ways for camera controls ("c" button plus pointer moving for camera panning).
I think one advantage of the PC version is that if you have a laptop you can take it on the road. And the graphics are better though good graphics take a backseat to good gameplay for me. I considered the PC version since I have a Mac that boots up XP but eh... the PSP seemed easier since airline seat trays don't have much room for a 17" laptop plus area for mousing around.
Anyway, I don't have experience with either but I do have a Wii and was impressed with "Anniversary" (on the PSP at least) as it exceeded my expectations by many air miles. One of the best Tomb Raider titles to come out in ages IMO. Enjoy finishing the game if you haven't. Still haven't reached Egypt but one level away.
I can see myself picking up the Wii version even after finishing the PSP version since I find myself enjoying going back and replaying levels to find artifacts and relics I missed. I rarely do that sorta thing as I'm not a gamer who's a 100% completion type. But Anniversary is fun to play and explore. And I imagine with a Wii remote, a slightly different experience, especially during the show down with the T-Rex early on.

Top 10 Wii Games For Adults
E3 would probably have closed down in shock if Nintendo had not made at least one Mario-related announcement. Top 10 Wii Games For Adults Fortunately they obliged and presented New Super Mario Bros. Wii. The main attraction of this game is something that Nintendo have been trying to achieve for some time – a multiplayer game in “real time”. What this means in effect is that while a player is guiding Mario around the familiar side-scrolling game world, he or she can invite up to three other friends to join in at any point along the way. This new feature has been made possible due to the technology behind the Wii and has been a long-term goal of Shigeru Miyamoto, the man behind Mario.
Players will, according to early reports and screenshots, be able to choose from Mario and Luigi (of course) and two versions of Toad. When played in multiplayer mode the game will include competitive elements between the players, such as collecting various objects around the screen, and at the end of a level the players will be given statistics to show how well they played. Needless to say, other familiar faces from the world of Mario will make appearances including Yoshi the dinosaur, who can be used as a mode of transport.
In another first for the Wii, the game is said to have a feature where the player can pause the game and let the software itself go through the level until the player wants to continue playing, a little like fast forwarding through t DVD until you get to the part you want to see.
The Wii remote will be used both in traditional gameplay style (buttons) and using the motion sensor technology behind the remote to spin around in midair and to pick up the other players…yes, you can pick up the other players. And throw them. What else could you possibly ask for?
